Why do I love this wine so much?
1. it has perfect, clean graphic design
2. amongst Morgon it is the most delicate
3. I can drink it today
4. it is farmed responsibly
5. it is great with my favorite washed rind cheeses
6. it may be the best wine for under $25, period

Hard Floors

One of the coolest things about working at Thirst Wine Merchants is the wood floors. I can stand all day and me feet don't die. Niether do wine bottles. Not like this one. :(

Abandoned shipyard, Richmond Ca.

At the outset of WWII four shipyards were built along the Richmond waterfront, employing thousands of workers, many recruited from all over the United States, including many African-Americans and women entering the workforce for the first time....Once the war ended the shipyard workers were no longer needed, beginning a decades-long population decline. The Census listed 99,545 residents in 1950. By 1960 much of the temporary housing built for the shipyard workers was torn down, and the population dropped to about 71,000.
